In preparation of cold weather, to prevent your rubber car doors seals from freezing during the winter, rub some glycerine around them with your finger. You can buy it from any supermarket in the baking section for a quid or less.
Stay away from any products that contain petroleum such as Vaseline as it causes rubber to swell and degrade.

Yes, glycerin! It's really good for rubber, cheap as chips, doesn't make a mess and prevents the door seals from sticking/freezing.
I wouldn't use it on door runners though!
