Hi - Ibought a 64 reg 1.5TDCi Zetec in July this year with just over 7k on the clock and have added 10k miles so far!
The passenger wing mirror has been clipped and the cover dislodged. Any advice on re-fitting please? I've tried slotting the top in first which then leaves the lower edge displaced and if fitting the bottom first I can't get the top edge to fit properly - do I just need a hammer??

Hi DickP
Welcome to B-Max ownership and the forum.

I had my door mirror very badly clipped by some oik earlier, but I had to replace the whole mirror.

I ended up buying a manual mirror that came with a primed finish cover.

After I painted the cover I had the joy of trying to securely install said cover.

I can't remember the technique now, but I know that a few terse words were said - that didn't really help - and just kept on trying. Did not have to resort to a hammer.

I can only recommend trying different ways and having quite a lot of patience.

Sorry that this may not quite be the response you were after!

I caught mine on my garage door when I first hadmy car(I powerfold them now !) If I remember correctly you can locate top and bottom together and slide it into place (toward the car). It should then "click" in to place.

Good luck.
