Hi all. I amnew to the forum. I bought my 13 reg B-Max just before xmas. Its already been back to Ford to fix a back door/window problem
. My new problem seems to be Sync does not recognise my usb connection. Does any body else have this problem and hopefully a solution as I really don't fancy going back to Ford again! :-(

Hello and welcome to the forum !

I don't use my usb connection (phone only), so I can't answer your question directly.
Page 246 of the manual has all the info, plus maybethis could assist ? -

Hopefully somebody else can help you.

I had to try more than 1 usb stick to get it to recognise one. Even then I couldn't rush the sync system. Try installing the usb when the ignition is switched on and off.

The USB system cannot handle large sticks , it failed to read my ipod classic which worked fine in a Seat Altea and choked on any stick bigger than 32mb. It also seemd to fill up with crud because periodically I have to go to the menu and select reset USB

Pity because when its working its a nice system
