Called into Staines Trust Ford for an Oil Filter today. I then enquired about the price of oil.
I was quoted £32 and refused the offer immediately.
As if to add insult to injury the sales guy muttered the cost of oil would have been £43 but as I had bought a Ford part he was able to reduce the price.

Just where do these car dealerships get off Insulting customers intelligence?

I stopped off at Tesco,s and got a can of Castrol 5W 30 for £28 assuming it to be better than Ford Oil!

Ford use someone like Castrol don't think? And to be honest £4 price difference is not too bad.

It's £20 a litre in Halfords.

It was for four Litres at TrustFord and bearing in-mind if I had not bought an Oil Filter I would have been charged £43 for just the oil.

Tesco I bought four Litres of Castrol 5W 30 Magnatec £28.

How much can you trust Ford from the start. They've already put the delivery dateback 3 weeks, blaming Christmas (like they didn't know that Christmas was going to happen when I ordered the car!). I ask you - does Christmas last 3 weeks?
How long do they shut the plant down for in Romania?
