This may already be answered elsewhere! Sorry.
Is it correct than roof rails are needed before I can fit roof bars!?
Any ideas how much rails and bars are going to cost!?

Hello teamandrews, there is a thread titled Roof Bars - They do exist!! I think there was extensive discussion and details of what one needs, including bars I think. It does not seem to be cheap.

My Ford dealer has a 'winter offer' brochure which says "B-Max roof rails and cross bars are expected to be available between November-December 2013". The brochure does not give a price and says that offer expires 31 December anyway. He knows nothing about them. I note that Gates Ford are advertising them at £333 incl VAT + delivery (pt number F1842746 ). The roof bars are posted at
