Does anyone know if fitting an after market reversing sensor would throw up any errors with the canbus ?
It would only be connected to the reverse light so it only activates when needed.
Any thoughts appreciated.
Cheers guys n gals !

A slight resurrection of the above thread.
Anyone know if the wiring loom in the rear of the car is standard across the range of B-max models ?
I'm wondering if the connection /s for reversing sensors are there before i attempt to tap into the reverse light.
I would like to fit an after-market sensor array but don't want to create any can-bus errors.
Cheers.

I don't know for certain Wiggy, but I would be very surprised if Ford fitted more than one wiring loom to the B Max model other than perhaps fitting a modified one if they were getting recalls on early models. I would be 99% sure that your loom would be exactly the same as the loom on a higher spec model. It's just not economical for manufacturers to use different looms.
