The rear seat belt catches behind the driver both point directly upward instead of leaning forward. This makes it very difficult for rear passengers to engage the belt. The catch does not appear to want to move forward. How do I get at the nut behind the seat?

Please do not under any circumstance make any attempt to tighten/loosen seat belt anchorage nuts/bolts. They areimportant for the restraint of passengers in the event of a collision. Discuss the matter with a main dealer service manager please. Not an independent garage.

to add to peglegs warning, the front belts also have 'pretensioners' an explosive to tighten the belt, they work in conjunction with airbags which are also built into the front seats.

don't go near them.
ps bmax uses two different types of pretensioner!
