Hi, I need to replace the double rear seat block/ catch as it's not working. How easy is to remove the rear seats to gain access? I see some cables. Are they there to pull and lift the seat up on a hinge?

Regards
Jamie.

Never done it myself, but can't believe that it would be that difficult, but these jobs often end up surprising you by being more difficult than you might expect or needing a tool that you dont have. Still, it's not a particularly hard place to get to.

Let us know how you get on as someone else may need to do the same job at some point.

One problem with the b max is the lack of a haynes manual.Edited by: cianpars

the cables are to lower the seat base as the back is folded.
I believe the squab is removed but taking two small pegs out at the front corners, [use long nose pliers to squish these], and some clips at the back
let us know how you get on.
also if possible can you please take a couple of photos, so others can see how its done.
