Hello!

In need of some desperate help with this one - whilst replacing the rear brake light on my other half’s 2017 B-Max I’ve somehow managed to drop the long wingnut which holds the light assembly in place into the cavity where the sponge lives.

A quick internet search later has not yielded any results in obtaining a replacement. Any assistance offered would be greatly appreciated!

find a 6 yearold with tiny hands and see if they can delve into the void, else get one from ford or a specialist breakers (note ford supply the part, not the talented 6 yearold)

That happened to me and it involved removing the plastic plate along the boot lip, removing the side pocket and pulling the trim out to retrieve it. At least that bit was pretty easy - all came out and went back in with no problem.
