Hi all
My 13 reg b max rear passenger door won't open from the inside or outside..
All other doors working perfectly..
Has anyone seen this issue before and can the door card be removed when the door is closed ..
The button on the door handle seems weak ( as if a spring is broken)
Any ideas or information would be great
Many thanks
Tom

From a previous post - hope it helps.

Hi all,In response to the Passenger side rear door problems posted here -
I have just had a similar problem on my B-max 1.0.
The rear nearside door couldn't be opened from outside or inside.
It has has been fixed under warranty. It turned out to have been water ingress into the door module. Ford are apparently aware of this and the replacement modules are supposed to be OK. The garage have also greased around the replacement module as a precaution.

The outside handle on my 62 reg decided to not work today, but the inside one does. The rear doors are generally only opened once a week
The whole external handle seems lose. Mine's under warranty so I hope the replacement module will be the new type

My B-Max has just been in to the local Ford dealer for investigation and to get prices for Warranty work that Evans Halshaw will be paying for.

Apparently, the cable between the door handle and the lock/latch itself is almost completely worn through. And I'm told that the cable isn't available on it's own but requires the whole caboodle, including the module.

So if you're out of warranty then a trip to the scrap yard might help.

If anyone has an image of the door components would be appreciated
