Car:- 2013 B-Max 1.0 Titanium

I am trying to find out how to programme a replacement keyless remote control, but all the generic Ford forums say to start the process by inserting the key into the ignition, and turning from 0 to II and back again a number of times.

My problem - I do not have an ignition for the key to go into.....

How can I get round this, or will I really be forced to pay my local dealer?

Many thanks,

David

Think you are going to have to get it done at a Ford dealer. I've had a good look at my manual and, as you say, only "key ignition" remotes can be programed yourself.

You'll have to get your other remote(assuming you have one) programmed the same as your new one too !!

Sorry looking into this further the following YouTube video shows programming of a Kuga key and a module plugged in to the car, in short looks like a garage job.

Update This seems to show a method but I don't think the Bmax has removable cover!
