Presume you mean the front nearside ? Have you by any chance activated the central locking system.Try locking and unlocking the system and then try the door. Will it open from the inside ?

After three hours it opened. It was frozen after all . The reason I thought it wasn't frozen Is that I drove for about half an hour with the heating at high. I left it in the sun for about an hour after that and when I went out it opened. I took it to the car wash two days ago and the water must have got into the mechanism , so be warned about that. The door was jammed solid,my wife had to sit in the back, she thought I was her driver.

The back is a very comfortable place to be, with the front seat pushed forward and folded. Glad you sorted the door, hope it did not disturb the rubbers .....
