Hi Dave, and welcome.

I came to driving quite late, only passing my driving test at age 32.

My first car was a P reg (1975) Escort Mk2, following which we had 2 further Mk2s, then a few odds and sods including a Golf, a Cavalier ,Orion (with "pepperpot" alloys), Nissan Primera (great car), Renault Scenic, Vauxhall Meriva, Ford Focus (superb vehicle till the mechanics got their hands on it) and our current B Max.

My faith in the Ford badge has been somewhat tested by problems with the Powershift gearbox, but I still consider it one of the better handling brands on the road.

Yes Desthemoaner, I have a brother in law who works for Vauxhall and he always insists that the Ford engines are the best if you give them regular oil changes,
can't be bad coming from a Vauxhall man who drives Ford, merry xmas Des,

I have titanium 2016. The odometer changes from mileage to avg mpg then avg mpg actual mpg temperature etc until it returns to the mileage and then starts the sequence again. It always defaults to mileage and changes within seconds to the sequence explained
It's done 7100 miles
