Sorry about the pun in the thread title.
It was not really intended, but will become apparent as I ramble on. My iPhone is synced and automatically connects when I start up (titanium). The music automatically plays on my iPhone although I am usually listening to the radio. Not a problem you might think. My concern is that on long trips it runs down the battery on the iPhone.
I could just plug the iPhone in to the charger, but I think I should be able to properly control technology and turn stuff off when I want.
Guidance most welcome from you experts out there. Please don't say get a new phone.
Thanks

Not got our B-Max yet but with Ford Sync in our last car this is what we had to do;

1) Go to media while the music from the iPhone is playing.
2) It should already say "Bluetooth" for the Source but if not, toggle until you are at Source "Bluetooth" (your iPhone music will be playing over the speakers)
3) Go to Settings (bottom right-hand corner of the Sync menu
4) You will see an option "Autoplay"
5) Click "Autoplay", select "off"

There are a couple of other options, close your music app on your phone, switch off bluetooth on your phone.

Hope that works on the B-max too.
