Hi,

I've just purchased a 13 Titanium.

I hope the following makes sense.

Both front seats are securely fixed to the floor but there is some movement in the seatback.

Regardless of how I adjust the recline this movement persists. When I brake sharply the seatback will move forward and back slightly.

Is this normal?

Welcome to the forum.

No,definitely not normal! Get it looked at - if you bought it from a garage/car sales, it should be rectified at no cost to you.

And I woul add that since the seatbelts are attached to the seat backs, this is a safety issue, potentially selling an unsafe vehicle.

Should have been picked up in the MOT test.
