Hello. I’m new here and asking a question for my Mum. She recently purchased a semi automatic B Max which has been back to the garage once with a traction fault and now we have noticed a judder when pulling away. It’s going back to the garage in a week (the soonest they could book it in) to see if there are any updates needed but after reading posts on here I’m not holding my breath. My question is - is it advisable to drive it with this issue, if it’s gearbox will it just pack up while being driven?

,It will almost certainly be the clutch. A well documented issue which should be sorted out under warranty,
by fitting the latest clutch pack which came out last year. Also check to make sure heated windscreen is working on both sides (passanger and driver), as that is another common fault to be fixed under warranty.

It's not a safety issue, more of an inconvenience.


Was it bought from a Ford dealership ?
