Hello since the iPhone upgrade some months ago, when my phone connects to sync, I can't hear any volume on my sat nav on the phone. I used to have an option to have the volume come from the phone or the car speakers but now I have neither. And it doesn't matter which map app I use. The only way I get sound is if I switch Bluetooth off but then I obviously can't take calls. Does anyone have an answer how to resolve this please? Thank you.

In google maps navigation settings, there is an option to increase the volume. Not sure if that helps.

Also noticed an oprion to play voice over bluetooth and play voice during pgone calls.

Guess you may have played around with these already though.Edited by: cianpars

I had issues connecting my Windows Phone (Never buy one!!) to SYNC after a Windows update.Queried it with the dealer, just had a Ford software update. All fixed.
But... you have to ask, they will not notify you that it is necessary.

Do Ford make a charge for the software update?

As far as I was aware, the SYNC v1 software had not been updated since December 2011.

My Software Update was under warranty. I bought my Bmax from a Ford specialist, who booked me into the Ford Main dealer. The specialist knew about the software issue, Ford dealer didn't seem to know or care.It seems that most phone update, whatever the brand, will need a SYNC update to maintain 100% function. I guess they will charge if outside warranty.
