i gave my b-max its first wash todad and found 2 stonechips on the tailgate ,the colour is frozen white and has any one got any advise on whitch paint stick to get and where

Ive bought them from Ford, Halfords and on-line and they all seem to do a decent job. They are normally 2 stage with a paint then a laquer.

What I would ask though is that a touch up paint may cover a stone chip but will not cover the indentation. What is the best way to build up the indentation without making more of a mess E.g filler)

I can remember doing this a few years ago with a tiny amount of knifing stopper and putting a piece os sellotape over the top. When the stopper had dried, removed the sellotape and a smooth finish resulted. I remember also using a small amount of Araldite in the same way.Edited by: cianpars

Thats what i often do, then after it has hardened, rub down with some T Cut, then polish
