From the suppliers Travelspot:

I
can now confirm having visited our local Ford Dealership the fitting position
you will be using will be diagram 2, the Eurolites being fitted from directly in
front of your lights and at eye level to them and in the same position relative
to the dip beam bulb on both the drivers and passengers side of the
vehicle.

Further message from Travel-spot:

The fitting diagram you will need to follow on your B-Max as it has
'Projector Lights' would be fitting position 4.

The picture you attached to your previous email showed a bulb version
hence why I told you to use diagram 2.

The fitment of the Eurolites is always carried out by using the dip beam
light as a reference point, if you kneel in front of the light unit and
directly in front of it and position the adaptor from that view point
you will locate the Eurolites correctly. Incidentally the B-Max we
tested did have a tiny cross on the Perspex cover of the lights this
signified the centre of the dip beam light and will aid you in the
fitment.

I took the picture from an ebrochure so it means that models have different headlights.

I drive to Gibraltar usually once per year and always fit the headlamp adaptors to my car.

On returning last time whilst on the Channel Tunnel train the guy next to me was from Holland and noticed me taking off my headlamp adaptors. "what
are those for" he said, I have to put them on when driving in Europe so I don't blind oncoming drivers. "we
don't do that when coming to the UK he said!!

One rule for them one rule for us

It is law here also. Probably just hasn't been caught.

If we go to the EU for the day we don't bother but do risk an on the spot fine.

In the UK you would get a fixed penalty and probably would never pay it and we would never bother chasing it.
