Anybody got any tips for getting selotape marks from a car? L plates has selotape round them and now just left a mark<div name="popUpDiv" id="popUpDiv" ismouseover="false" ="popUpDivOff" =":.Name='popUpDivOff';" =":.Name='popUpDivOn';" style="display: none;">

I use Lighter Fuel from the old fashioned Petrol Cigarette Lighters, or you could use nail varnish remover (acetone)

You could try surgical spirit. RemovesElastoplast marks from humans and any other hard to remove sticky marks. Available at pharmacy's and at £1.30 or so cheaper than the professional type car stuff

You would have to do a small test but its contents are methylated spirits and castor oil. If its safe for human skin and classed as a medicine for external use I would not have thought it would damage the car.

Specialk cheers mate. I bought some before for 99p what a bargain. Tried a small patch and it worked so got rid of all of it then polished the patch. Looks really good now :)
