Hi All, I have had the car 2 years and I am happy with it,as long as small and weak back seat passengers can manage to close the door and avoid having their heads chopped off.I joined as this winter, as last, the driver's door will not open on cold mornings. The car sits outside in a particularly cold spot. I have applied WD40 to no avail. However on reading some of the comments on here I realise it might not be lock trouble but a problem of the rubber seals around the door sticking so I am off to buy silicone spray and see how that goes. I think the site is marvellous.

Did the silicon spray work? My car will be parked in a particularly exposed spot too so I will buy some if it helps.

don't know yet as not had any cold weather since applied the silicone. Plenty of rain and wind but no freezing temperatures.
Will let you know.
