Hi, Just brought a second hand ford b- max 2013 reg.

I just realised behind my rear view mirror there is a cable disconnected behind it.

Any idea what is for, or should be connected to?.

probably power for an aftermarket 'dashcam', give us a picture of it, and we should be able to identify it further.

that is a mini usb, often used with dash cams
just tuck it out of the way, or indeed use it.

Thanks Gremlin, I just tried it on my Dash Cam which I had in my old car. So that was bonus connecting that up, instead using its normal cable to the cigarette lighter port.

Im going to see later if there is a connector at the back for a rear camera, else I fit it myself to my Dash cam finding the best way to hide the cable in the car body work.
