Hi, my cruise control failed to work and a warning light ( spanner) apeared, drove on to work.checked an hour or so later and warning light has gone and cruise control is fine again. My question is should i not bother about it and wait to see if it happens again.

If the spanner light came on, there will be a record of the fault stored in the diagnostic system. If it is under warranty, get it looked at. If not, I wouldn't be to concerned.
