I have a 1.6TDCi Titanium X. Leather seats etc etc
The drivers seatdeveloped a creak last year when you move inthe seat as the car moves.

Went to Ford and (surprise surprise) they couldn't replicate it.

They did suggest a leather cleaner to keep the leather supple which may stop it !!!! (Wasn't convinced)

As it wasn't too bad I didn't pursue it, however just recently it's got worse again but as I think the car is no longer under warranty (is it 2 years or 3 ? ) clearly Ford are not going to stump up for a new seat.

Anyone any ideas or similar issues ?

Cheers

3 years.

Try a different dealership and don't mention previous ineffective result.

Unlucky eh...
My car is now 3 years 1 month old..

Don't think any Ford dealer is likely to get involved in a dodgy seat once the warranty has expired. (especially if it involves a large cost i.e. a new seat...)

Might just have to put up with it.

Did think about scouring the internet for a vehicle upholsterer specialist though....

I'll see how much it annoys me over the next weeks.
