On your VIN plate which should be stamped into the floor on the drivers side or at the base of the windscreen corner, you need to look at the 'GROSS TRAIN WEIGHT' which I believe is the weight of the car + whatever you're pulling. As long as your combined weight does not exceed the number stamped on the VIN plate, you'll be fine. Also make sure that the rear tyres of the BMAX are increased by 3 Psi from standard, The tow bar nose weight of the trailer / caravan (meaning direct weight onto the tow bar does not exceed 50 Kilogrammes , and not to exceed 62MPH while towing anything.
