Hi all, I live in Cyprus & I just bought a new B max trend style (similar spec to the Zetec). The B max is selling here at a very good price. I am paying 12,500 Euros (around £9,500), after some haggling.
It will have the 1.0 litre 100hp ecoboost engine & in the race red colour.
Unfortunately there are no new ones in Cyprus for sale at the moment, so I have not sat in, or driven one.
It will take three months for delivery.
I have read reviews & watched many videos, so I am reasonably confident about my purchase.

Welcome aboard!
I don't think you will be disappointed. I have a 2013 Ecoboost 100.

Pretty nippy and fun to drive for what is essentially an over-sized Fiesta.

I hope you enjoy your B-Max when it arrives, and the wait doesn't go by too slowly for you.

The price I got, includes 19% vat & is RHD.I would be cheaper for people in the UK to buy one here & ship it over.

I have the same model 100hp in moondust color from 2013. It cost only 10.800 EUR. In Moldova, where I live, there is no VAT for cars. Extra, I received 1000 EUR discount and winter tires.

My car is coming up 3 years old and I was thinking of replacing it but although I would be happy to take a holiday in Moldova, a car bought there would be left hand drive.

However, Cyprus is a possibility for a holiday too (although I m told is is very comercialised now), would it really be feasable to save much if I bought there? What about future warrantly servicing?

I bought a Sony camera in Beijing and could not get it repaired under warranty in the UK if it was needed.

I came to Cyprus in 2004 & brought my six month old Mondeo, which has served me well up to now. The Ford warranty at that time covered most countries, certainly Cyprus.I am sure it will be no worse now, for international coverage.
The Ford dealers are located in Nicosia & the coastal towns of Limassol & Larnaca.
There is no Ford dealer in Paphos, a popular holiday town.
Shipping a car to the UK from Cyprus would cost about £500.
Things to note are, models of a lower spec than Titanium will not have items included such as heated windscreen, heated door mirrors etc, but will include other things such as parking sensors.
If you require certain options, they can be requested.

The price I mentioned includes VAT at 19%, the rate in Cyprus. You cannot be charged VAT again.

The Cyprus Ford website has been down for a few days. It is not a very sophisticated site in any case & only lists the model prices & the spec for each model (In Greek). Additional options are not listed on the site. The link to the site is:- www.fordcy.com/
Phone number:- (00357) 22860000
