Hello there,
My 2014, Ford Direct, B-Max, auto, titanium x suddenly lost power and displayed ""transmission malfunction, service now & ”§""�. The car has covered 13,000mls & regularly serviced by Fords. I read your message & tried resetting the transmission but selector lever won't move with the engine off (keyless ignition).
Would be grateful for any advise.

Did you try moving the gear selector with your foot on the brake pedal ? (Ignition on)
That often works in automatics.

Hi there,
Yes, did try but it didn't work so called Ford Assistance Engineer who transported car to my Ford dealership. I've just been informed that the problem was a ""flat battery""� which they've replaced. I not 100% convinced and have asked them to investigate further.

I had a flat battery problem with my used BMax shortly after we bought it last year.
They said it was a software problem, and had updated it. I could only take their word for it.
