My second power supply does not work-I havent tried to prise it out of the console. I tried to check the fuse but could not decide which fuse was which ( my car is 2014 Titanium). Is this fault covered by the manufactures warranty. Thanks for any help.

Surely must be covered under warranty ?? Worth checking with Ford anyway before you attempt anything yourself (which could make things worse !)

The front socket is only live when the key is switched on, the back one is live all the time.

As an addition to the comment from Jackkook, the front socket becomes live when the ignition is switched on, but remains live for a period (30 mins ??) after the ignition is switched off. This means if you switch the ignition on and then off, without even starting the car, it should still be live.
