Heater fan

I dont get the heater fan it seems to blow out heat alot more faster and louder when i am reversing in my b max can someone please tell me why on if they have any info on how to solve the problem it will be much appreciated

They all do it Simon, I have had two B-Maxes and a Fiesta they all did it, I do not know why.

apparently, it is common for cars to put the 'heater' on to 'recirculate' when reverse is selected. and the blower is on
I guess they think you may be reversing into a confined space and not to ingest your own exhaust!
