Sounds like you had a **** of a journey there, Makem !


My car was new this year (Feb) and has the same issue, although I hadn't noticed till you pointed it out.
Presumably it will never be a problem unless you happen to be driving in freezing rain or a blizzard !! I wonder if other marques initially designed for L/Hand drive have the same design fault ??

Apparently they do. Sorry I mentioned it if you hadn't noticed it.

The problem is caused by snow building up in that area and then turning to ice.It takes seconds before you notice it.
