Hi,

I read somewhere on here (I think it was David who posted it) that you can get an update for your car to "activate" certain modes on your car.

I have the Zetec model and was looking to get the tyre pressure and a few others added on BUT I was told they are only on the Titanium model but are lying dorment on all cars???

I don't know if that is correct or not.

Regards.

This was the post I believe :https://www.bmaxownersclub.co.uk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=272&PID=1843&title=tick-boxes-save-but-dont-do-it#1843

It was not an official update, it was something that I had found on another site, where a person had "hacked" the car software by connecting some Russian software on a laptop. . This would invalidate your warranty of your car.

As for the 'features' being on or off, it would make sense to put all the features in on the Titanium, and then switch them off as per the customers choice, but I am not sure if it's something they would do between trims (Zetec / Studio ) .... Monty may be able to help you there being a Ford person

According to the brochure, Deflation detection is standard on all the models. You may have to press menu and go to the vehicle settings(?) and switch it on.
Hope this helps

Cool - I will try that.

So are there any other "hidden" options that just need activated?

Maybe the door mirrors. I had to set mine to close on exit when I locked the car. I've got the titanium auto.

If you are going to use a DAB radio, you can turn on DAB SERVICE LINKING, this then allows the radio to auto tune to the next strongest frequency of the station you are listening to automatically when leaving frequency coverage area.

In the SYNC menu:-
AUDIO SETTINGS -> DAB SERVICE LINK (check the box to turn it on)
