hi,

according to user manual page 36, tail gate can be opened with remote control..

Opening and Closing the Liftgate

To Open the Liftgate
Press the button located in the top of the
liftgate pull cup handle to unlatch the
liftgate, then pull on the outside handle.

Opening With the Remote Control
Press the button twice within
three seconds

is this standard option? i didn't notice this in the titanium test drive car..

is it really 'opening' the tail gate? ....or only unlocking it?

Sadly it only unlocks tailgate, you would have to spend lot's more money and buy a Kuga whose tailgate does open up

yes, i know that was high expectation though

english is not my native language but to me 'opening' and 'unlocking' means two different things.. (maybe i shall correct myself or the manual need to be corrected)

there goes my 'dream'

p.s i have two kids who goes football almost everyday and the lift gate have to be opened manually numerous time every day... would have paid it if it's an option in B-MAX. tailgate is readily opened by the time we approach the car to chuck in all our stuff..that was the 'dream'
