Dab radio aerial

It's been a while, but I still have the bmax, well the wife has it now. And she puts it in the garage each night. The problem is that the aerial which is standard is hitting the roof, so my question is. Does anyone know where I can find a small stumpy aerial that will still receive a decent dab radio signal.

1.6 tdci, remapped to 120 bhp, Panther Black Titanium with rear view camera, nav pac and front sensors. Always willing to stop & help in any situation I can. Karma is a beautiful thing.

What type of aerial do you have now ? I thought most have a stubby rubber type. ?

Oops, no they don't. Your garage roof must be very low, as it doesn't stick up that high. ?

Hi T.I.

I may be mistaken, but I seem to remember this came up as a very early subject on the Forum and an aftermarket part stubby aerial was determined to be available.

Many thanks for the replies. The council, who we rent the garage off recently changed the doors on all of the garages and the fact that the wife now has my bmax and not her fiat, the 12-14 inch aerial hits the roof. But, armed with the information you have given me. I shall indeed go for a walk round my local ford dealer and see what available on their used cars! Failing that, I shall pay a visit to their spares dept.
