Any reason for this ?

Can anyone tell me what the small section in the picture attached is ? ( in the yellow circle ).

It has a smooth "window" type of cover over it but doesn't seem to do anything, it almost looks like a small camera you get in some cars that watch to see if the driver starts to nod off. I doubt that's what it is but i'm curious if it actually does anything.

If you have start/stop, a small green light illuminates when engine stops.

That is also where your High Beam lamp is to show that you have High / Full beam on.
At least thats whats on my 2015

Not used high beam yet, but will check it when i can.
