Heater not warming - fans are blowing cold

Hi All, hope someone can help.

My heater has stopped working, the fans are working fine just no warm air, just cold.

Any ideas?

Assuming you have checked coolant level , may be the thermostat ?

Definitely check coolant, if its low there won't be enough fluid to fill the heater matrix

Ive also had airlocks before on some cars where the coolant reservoir is topped up but there is no coolant in the heater.

Hate to be that guy but I'd go through the steps to check for cylinder head failure too. I take it its not losing fluid or particularly smoky in the mornings? If not, it probably fine.
