Tyres

My car has just had it's mot and needed a new tyre. They fitted a Nexen. Never heard of one before. They are made in South Korea. Does anyone have any comments on this brand of tyre?

They seem to be a reasonable budget tyre. From a company which has been going for over 70yrs.

Thank you both. The reason I asked was because I had a new South Korean car and you would have thought they would have had their own tyres on it.

From what I can tell, they perform fairly well for a budget tyre, but not quite as well as some of the big brands. TBH, budget tyres are fine for most drivers who dont push them anywhere near the limit.

If you regularly drive round bends and brake late trying to emulate Nigel Mansell, then you would probably benefit from top brand tyres and possibly a brain transplant 😀
