thanks for your reply, I will discuss this futher with ford. It was amazing last week after waiting 8 weeks for my car with no delivery date one call to ford and it turned up at the dealers at 11.30 the next day. its a miracle.

having a play on the ford web site i noticed that ford are now charging for race red, the only colour you can have now free of charge is blazer blue, at this rate the only colour available in the future free will be primer.

Monty R: Thats great,   at least we now have a contact for how to repair things.   Do you specialise in one aspect of the vehicles (which I assume is the whole UK ford range),   like the interior or exterior, engine or do you just cover everything?

2 years additional warranty (total: 4 years)

Final price: 18'388 euros

The dealer throws in free "home"-delivery in Germany, a standalone GPS, protective treatment on the upholstery, first aid kit, tow cable and a few other gadgets (on orders until end of March).

Delivery delay is given as 4 months, but could be less.
